Liberty Family,
The days are beginning to get a bit longer and spring is right around the corner. Our spring sports start the week of March 10th. The fourth marking period ends on Tuesday, March 18th. High School report cards will be available on the portal beginning Thursday, March 27th.
SENIORS OF THE MONTH
The seniors chosen were nominated by staff members for superlative achievement, whether it be for involvement in activities, academics, performance and sportsmanship, or showing outstanding improvement. A committee then reviews and makes selections.

The district is on a shortened schedule for students on Monday, March 10th for staff Professional Development. Liberty will dismiss at 11:49. Click here to see all school hours info.
Tuesday, March 11th at 4 pm Liberty will be the host forDistrict Museum Night. Come see artwork from ALL of our schools in a gorgeous showcase. This is a free event. All are welcome to attend!
JSD Spring College and Career Planning Night is Tuesday, March 11th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Auditorium. Parents and students from all grade levels are invited to get a head start on post-secondary and career planning. Topics will include Naviance (college planning program), post-secondary planning calendar, standardized test information, the college application process, financial aid, and Vocational/Career and Technical Education. This informational night is especially important for parents sending a student to college or trade school for the first time.
On Saturday, March 15th, the Jackson Education Association is sponsoring the Optical Academy from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for eye exams, contact lens fitting and eye wear. This is open to ALL members of our community. Scan the QR Code to schedule your appointment . Click here for flyer.
On Thursday, March 27th in Liberty's Main Gym from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, there will be a Trade and Job Fair. There are multiple pathways to success! There are thousands of jobs/careers that do NOT require a college degree. Come out to the 2nd annual Trade and Jobs Fair and speak to representatives from over 30: Employers, Trade Schools, Apprenticeship programs, Unions, Public Service, and the US Military! Check out the most up to date list of representatives here! Are you a former grad? A current senior? An adult looking for a new career path? This event is open to ALL community members! Come out and learn more!
