Liberty Family,

The days are beginning to get a bit longer and spring is right around the corner.  Our spring sports start the week of March 11th.  The fourth marking period ends on Wednesday, March 13th.  High School report cards will be available on the portal beginning Monday, March 25th.

 Students of the Month


The seniors chosen were nominated by staff members for superlative achievement, whether it be for involvement in activities, academics, performance and sportsmanship, or showing outstanding improvement.  A committee then reviews and makes selections.

The student athletes were nominated by their coaches because they have excelled in games, practices and in the classroom.  The Athletic Excellence Squad reviews nominations and votes for one boy and one girl.

Jackson School District presents, "March Into Wellness:  A Night of Resources" at Jackson Memorial High School on Wednesday, March 13th, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.  Open to all district students, staff & parents looking to obtain mental health and wellness resources.

Thursday, March 14th  at 4 pm Liberty will be the host forMuseum Night District Museum Night.  Come see artwork from ALL of our schools in a gorgeous showcase.  This is a free event.   All are welcome to attend!

JSD College and Career Planning Night is Thursday, March 14th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jackson Memorial High School.  Parents and students from all grade levels are invited to get a head start on post-secondary and career planning.  Topics will include Naviance (college planning program), post-secondary planning calendar, standardized test information, the college application process, financial aid, and Vocational/Career and Technical Education.  This informational night is especially important for parents sending a student to college or trade school for the first time.    

The Tri-M Honor Society hosts their annual Talent Show on Wednesday, March 20th in our auditorium.  The show starts at 6 pm and will feature some of the best talents Liberty has to offer!  Acts will include; singing, dancing, instrumental numbers and much, much more.  Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.  See you there!

On Thursday, March 21st in Liberty's Main Gym from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, there will be a school district Trade and Job Fair. These opportunities do not require a 4-year degree. Present that night will be:  Trade Schools, Unions, US Military, Employers, and opportunities for apprenticeships and to learn about certificate training programs.

The JLHS Choir presents their Annual Dessert Theater, “Broadway Bound” on Friday, March 22nd beginning at 6pm in the Grand Hallway.  Please join us as we bring the sounds of Broadway to Jackson complete with dessert buffet, coffee, and tea!  $10 Advance Tickets.  Please request by email to:  or $12 at the Door.  

The district is on a shortened day schedule-Thursday, March 28th.  Liberty will dismiss at 11:49 am.
