Moving Up Ceremonies

Moving Up Ceremonies for our Fourth and Fifth Grade Students

As many of you may already know, our current fourth and fifth grade students will be moving on to the Goetz School to continue their education path in the Jackson School District.  To celebrate this promotion, we will be hosting a variety of special events for both our fourth and fifth grade students this year.

A special Moving Up Ceremony will be held for our fourth and fifth grade students on Thursday, June 12th.  The fifth grade students will celebrate at 10:00 am and the fourth grade students will celebrate at 12:00 pm (noon).  These ceremonies will be held separately in the Holman Elementary School gymnasium.

In addition, our fourth and fifth grade students will also participate in a "Fun Day" filled with special events and activities.  The fifth grade Fun Day will be held on Friday, June 6th while the fourth grade Fun Day will be held on Monday, June 9th.

I hope that you can join us for our special Moving Up ceremonies on June 12th.  I look forward to celebrating these special events with you and your children.  More information will be forthcoming as we get closer to these events.  All the best for a successful academic future!

  Parents/Guardians will be invited to attend this special program; however, space is limited to only two (2) guests per student.  Younger Holman siblings will not be pulled out of their classroom to attend the ceremony.  Tickets will be forthcoming.  Please adhere to the following guidelines to ensure that the day runs smoothly:

• Please make sure your child arrives at school on time.

• Please make sure your child/children adhere to the district dress code policy for this special day.

• Please bring the designated ticket with you to the ceremony.  The ticket holder and guest must have a valid picture identification to enter the building.  No exceptions.

• Please enter and exit the school through the gym lobby doors only.  Do not go to the main entrance.

• If you wish to sign your child out after the ceremony, it may be done after the ceremony outside by the gym lobby doors.
