“Read Across America”
Pajama Party At Holman Elementary School
In honor of Dr. Seuss’ Birthday
Wednesday, March 5th, 2025
All Holman Families are invited to attend our annual “Read Across America Pajama Party” taking place on Wednesday, March 5. This is an evening event sponsored by the Jackson Education Association and HOPE to celebrate reading and stories. Families who attend this evening event will enjoy a performance by Holman Staff on stage in the APR and will be able to visit the HOPE-sponsored Scholastic BookFair.
We will have 2 sessions that evening and timed entry tickets will be sent home with students from school that day. Families with last names beginning with A-L are invited to attend at 6:00 (blue tickets), and those with last names beginning with M-Z are invited to come at 7:00 (red tickets). Wear your pajamas and bring a blanket to sit on!
Please arrive and enter the school through the Main Lobby doors. Doors for the first session (last names A-L– blue tickets) will open at 6:00 and close promptly at 6:15. Our Read Across America event is a play performed on stage by staff members, so in order for the audience to enjoy the show, no one will be admitted after the doors close at 6:15pm. Anyone arriving after 6:15 will be asked to wait to attend the 7:00 performance.
Doors for the second session (last names M-Z– red tickets) will open at 7:00 and close promptly at 7:15. Please enter Holman School through the Main Lobby doors. Again, because our event is a performance onstage, no one will be admitted after 7:15pm.
Please note this is not a drop off event. All students need to be accompanied by an adult.
We hope you will join us for this fun and memorable event!
