Need Help With Technology?

Dear Parents/Guardians of Holman Students,

Whether it's an issue with the Chromebook or logging into a Google Classroom, many parents have been asking various questions about technology.

Here are answers to the top three most asked questions so far:

 1)  When does my child (who is on a hybrid schedule) log into meet with his/her classroom teacher or special area teacher on the "remote" day?

  • I encourage you to go to your child's teacher's web page for these details.  It is important for your child to attend both of these sessions.  Please note that the remote meeting with the classroom teacher at the end of the day is also when attendance will be taken and recorded in our Genesis database.

 

2)  What if I have an issue with technology and need assistance with the Parent Portal or Login?

  • TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANCE:
    • Please be sure to use the correct support contact for the type of issue you are experiencing. We kindly ask for your patience as we handle each request. We are moving as quickly as we can and we are eager to make sure every student can access the technology they need.

  • If your Chromebook is broken or damaged, please contact the main office @ (732) 833-4620.  For all other issues regarding passwords and logins, please use the request form above...please do not contact the main office.

 

3)  I'm having an issue with an application, logging into my child's Google Classroom, or logging into Pearson Math.  I need help.  Are there any video tutorials to assist me?

I know it is that it may seem difficult but we are here to help.  New routines take a little time to get used to.  I have to admit....I was extremely proud of all of the students in both groups and their ability to wear their masks all day.  Thank you so much for stressing that important concept with them.
