November Principal's Message

November 2017

Dear Holman Families:

November is a time intended for giving thanks.  Please ask your child what they are doing to support this important character trait. How are they showing thankfulness and appreciation? I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for taking the time to read with your children, checking homework, communicating with your child’s teacher and countless other things you do as a parent or guardian to encourage and support the education of your child.  We are very fortunate to have a school community with a nurturing staff, happy students, and caring parents.

Congratulations to H.O.P.E. for sponsoring another successful Fall Harvest Festival on Thursday, October 19th!  Cicconi Farms was packed with excited students and parents eating, taking a hayride, and playing various fall-themed games.  Thank you to all for your generosity and participation.  It was so nice seeing everyone at this fun family event.

October 31 – Students may dress up for Halloween. Please see rules regarding costumes :

Please mark your calendars for our next HOPE meeting which will be held at 7:00pm in the APR on Tuesday, November 7th.  We look forward to seeing you there!
