May 2021 Principal's Message
Dear Holman Families:
Mother’s Day is celebrated differently from family to family but the spirit of the day remains the same. We honor that person we call “mom” for being that special person in our lives that sticks with us through thick and thin. My best wishes to all for a Happy Mother’s Day.
Staff Appreciation Week
Monday, May 3rd - Friday, May 7th is Staff Appreciation Week. I am extremely proud and impressed by our teachers’ and staff members’ passion, strength and patience as they have dealt with all of the challenges of the 2020-2021 school year. Staff have been working very hard during these difficult times to try and move students forward educationally. If you would like, take a moment and have your child write a special message or draw a picture to recognize their teacher or a special staff member.
Spirit Days
Don’t forget to wear your Holman Spirit Wear or red & black on Friday, May 7th & Friday May 14th.

Are you moving?

Message from Mrs. Peras, the Holman School nurse
I hope everyone is staying healthy during this difficult time. If your child or someone your child has come in close contact with is sick please email me directly at adematteo@jacksonsd.org. I hope everyone continues to stay safe and healthy!
Moving Up Ceremony
The Fifth Grade Moving Up Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 4, 2020 in the Holman School Gymnasium to celebrate the promotion of all of our fifth grade students (both in-person and full remote). Parents will be invited to attend this special program; however, space is limited to only two (2) guests per student. Only two classes will be recognized at a time. Please note that we will be adhering to these rules due to health and safety regulations. Guests will be required to wear a mask and each family group must sit six feet apart from another family group. Due to limited parking, it is recommended that you carpool or walk to the school, if possible. Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to recognizing your student’s efforts on this special day. More information will be forthcoming.
