At the second level there is an increased opportunity to practice the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Conversational and listening comprehension skills are developed through full immersion opportunities: classroom discussion, dialogues, videos, visuals, and active engagement. The rigor of the pacing and the immersion of the language application are enhanced through the use of multi-media applications, resources, websites, and technology. Writing remains a guided skill working toward original composition. Spanish culture, history, art and music continue to be integrated throughout throughout the course in its application and evaluation.
