The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a broader and more complete background in mathematics.  The course weaves three themes—applied arithmetic, algebra, and geometry by focusing on arithmetic operations in mathematics and the real world.  The course is designed to provide each student with the background necessary to be able to pass the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment and/or the Student Review Assessment process.  It is required of seniors who have not passed the NJGPA.
