Geometry is a one-semester course designed for the mathematically competent, academically talented mathematics student who has successfully completed Algebra I. Instruction at this level is geared towards the higher levels of Blooms Taxonomy: analysis, synthesis, and the application of the more advanced geometric theorems and concepts. The purpose of this course is to provide each student with a challenging program in geometry, as a foundation for college.
