Advanced CAD- 3D Design (0611)

Welcome to the world of 3D modeling and design in Advanced CAD. Throughout the semester we will be creating solutions to design problems using Autodesk Inventor. Inventor is a 3D parametric modeling program that is used by professionals around the world. Students will learn to think like a designer and consider many aspects dealing with how a product will be used. This course is great for anyone interested in engineering or industrial/CAD design.

Students are currently modeling objects using AutoDesk Inventor and becoming familiar with the various techniques used to construct complicated parts.

If you wish, there is free software available from Autodesk for your student to use if needed.  Click on the link below to access this great resource.  We are using the 2019 Windows version in class so be sure to download the correct version.
