I will begin to introduce the kindergarten sight words to the students in September.  We will be learning at least 2 words per week.  The students will be using these words throughout the week on worksheets and they will also begin to recognize these words in text.  I will send home all of the kindergarten sight words shortly with a ring to put them on.   Please use the ring to help your child study these words so they will learn them thoroughly.  These are words they will frequently see in their leveled readers.  

***It is very important that the children study these words daily using their sight word cards!  This is a foundation to help build their reading and writing skills.
