Web 2.0 is about revolutionary new ways
of creating, collaborating, editing and sharing
user-generated content online. Here are some recommended
tools that will elevate teacher and student presentations and creations.
Animoto - Create personalized videos by uploading photos and/or videos, customizing the style and adding captions and music.
Blendspace - is a free web tool for teachers to collect resources in one place to form a bundled, interactive lesson for students or colleagues.
EdPuzzle - is a free interactive assessment tool that lets the teacher select a video and easily modify it making it personal, engaging and effective. In addition, EDpuzzlecontains powerful analytic tools to track each student in the classroom and is great for individualized lesson plans or the flipped classroom.
FlipGrid - Flipgrid is an active, social learning platform that engages learners through video-based discussion.
Smore - An easy to way to create online flyers and newsletters.
Myhistro- This tool allows users to watch and read a number of timelines. In addition, students can create their own timelines with pictures, video and text.
Glogster - Great presentation tool for students. Allows users to create online media posters with text, photos, videos, graphics, sounds, drawing and more. It is a visual and interactive platform that is easy to use and allows for a great deal of creativity.
Canva - Canva makes design simple for everyone. Create designs for Web or print: blog graphics, presentations, Facebook covers, flyers, posters, invitations and more.
