It is so important to help our students understand the rights, responsibilities, and opportunities of living, learning and working in an interconnected digital world.
About the Nine Themes of Digital Citizenship
Common Sense Media: Common Sense is the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in the 21st century.
Digizen: The Digizen website provides information for educators, parents, carers, and young people to strengthen their awareness and understanding of what digital citizenship is and encourages users of technology to be and become responsible DIGItal citiZENS. It shares specific advice and resources on issues such as social networking and cyberbullying and how these relate to and affect their own and other people's online experiences and behaviours.
