BE A BUCKET FILLER, NOT A BUCKET DIPPER!!!! Have you been a bucket filler today? You can be a bucket filler in many different ways... By trying your best in school, giving respect to all your peers and adults, helping someone in need, and treating others the way you want to be treated.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Our class is scheduled for lunch at 12:15. I believe that the class would benefit from a mid-morning snack to help the students maintain their focus during lessons. Since we will be working through snack, I ask that you limit the snack to one healthy food item per day. (some examples: one piece of fruit, carrot sticks, pretzels, crackers) Thank you for your cooperation! Please be mindful of students with allergies. We are a peanut/nut free classroom. Please keep in mind if you eat a breakfast containing these ingredients it would be helpful to wash your hands thoroughly before getting to school. If your child is allergic to nuts and not required to sit at the nut free table during lunch, please be sure to send in a note the first day of school.D Casais5th Gradedcasais@jacksonsd.org
BE A BUCKET FILLER
We had a wonderful year in ________5th___ grade. It has been a pleasure to watch your child grow and learn. Your child’s success is a reflection of their hard work and your support. Involvement in reading during the summer months leads to better academic performance when children return to school in the fall. Please continue to encourage your child read. Your child was introduced to a list of choices for his or her summer reading enjoyment. Below is the link to the suggested choices for each grade level.
We ask that each child read five books and complete the reading log available on the elementary school websites. In September, teachers will set aside time to discuss the books read by your child.
