  • Switlik Spirit Day

As part of our reading initiative to promote lifelong readers, Switlik Elementary School is excited to announce that we will have Storybook Character Spirit Day on Friday, January 17.  Students can come to school dressed up as a character from a favorite book.

No need to buy a costume. Have fun working with your child to plan a simple outfit. Be creative! Gather an assortment of hats, clothing, or other props to create the look of a storybook character. Your child may also bring a copy of the book to class that day.

A reward goes to the class with the most participation!   We look forward to all the fun that will be happening throughout the day.  Thank you for your support in making Storybook Character Spirit Day a success.

  • Homhomework ework Expectations

Copy assignments from the Homework Board.  Ample time is available to get this done.

Ask questions to clarify directions at the time the work is assigned.

Complete and turn in each assignment neatly, accurately, and timely.

All work (on separate paper) must accompany math assignments. Students are learning how skipping steps may cause them to make  "avoidable" mistakes.
