Our focus will be on getting to know each other and all of the new routines that come with the new school year.I will use this page as a form of communication until our Google Classroom is up and running and everyone is logged on. I'm looking forward to working with your children this year. Please reach out if you need anything. email@example.com

This is one form of communication that is used throughout the year. This website can also be used to access digital resources, tools and remote learning expectations.
Google Classroom: Our google classroom is where assignments and lessons will be posted throughout the year and where students will submit their assignments.
Google Meet: Google Meetings will be held each remote learning day. The link to access the google meet will be found in the google classroom. Please review google meet expectations.
On the days that your child is not in school, they will be expected to log into Google Classroom for attendance and to complete on-line assignments. We will also have Google Meets to check in and review work at the end of the day.
Chromebooks have been provided to each student for use at home and in school for the duration of the 2020-2021 school year. Please remember to bring your chromebooks to school each day and charge every night so they are accessible for in person and remote learning.
Lunches may be purchased, but is recommended to bring a bagged lunch.
If purchasing a lunch it is strongly suggested to deposit money on your student lunch account.
We encourage each child to bring in a labeled water bottle each day.
*There will be no snack or food of any kind in the classroom*
We have provided everything your child needs to have a successful year in 2nd grade. Many companies have kindly offered free subscriptions to their programs and one of them is EPIC, which is an online library that provides us access to over 35,000 eBooks, Learning Videos, Quizzes, and more for K-5 students. This is awesome for our students to provide access to new books on their grade level (since I'm sure we're already in need of some new books to read)!
Be sure to connect to Class Dojo.
Report Cards: Please be sure you are ready to access your child’s report card on the district portal website. Also, please remember that if your Portal log-in does not work, please try the “Forgot My Password” link above BEFORE contacting support, as most issues will be resolved through that feature. Please note that the “Forgot Password” link will work only with parents who have an e-mail as their login ID. For questions or problems with your login ID’s or password (or if you do not have them), please send an email to email@example.com
and include your name and phone number, as well as your child’s name, school, grade, student ID number and the problem you are experiencing and we will respond to you as quickly as possible.
I believe that a great parent-teacher relationship is necessary for a successful school year. My main general classroom communication is Class Dojo, google classroom and the Class Page. I hope that you will visit Them often to learn what is happening in our room. I update often with weekly with information on the skills and strategies that we are working on in class. Other announcements that pertain to our class will also be posted on our class page, google classroon and Class Dojo!
Be sure to log into class Dojo for updates and your childs daily progress!!! It's a great way to stay in touch with what is happening in room P3.
The PTN is always looking for volunteers, please contact Samantha Marley orPTN.firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to help out.
