Welcome To My Website
My name is Mr. Autenrieth and I am very excited to be teaching at Switlik Elementary School this year. This is currently my 17th year employed as a technology teacher in Jackson Township. Previously, I also taught computers for 2 years in the Point Pleasant Beach School District which is the same township where I also grew up in.
In addition to all the computer skills we will be learning, students will have an opportunity to incorporate real world applications into each weekly lesson. Starting in the first marking period, students of all grades will be using their Google Accounts to better understand electronic communication, word processing, slide shows, and file sharing. Additionally, we will be interacting with coding websites and other interactive style programs that all correlate with their classroom needs.
NEW FOR 2022-23 - Students will focus on more interactive learning applications, such as MonkeyType, Hour of Code and Kahoot. I'm so excited about the progress we made at the end of the previous school year and am eager to work with all classrooms to better include technology applications into their regular learning curriculum!
