Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

This year starts my 19th year of teaching here at the Jackson School District, specifically the Christa McAuliffe Middle School. For the 2022-2023 school year, I am excited to be working with all grade levels.

As an educator and parent, it is my belief that when families and teachers work together, a student will experience more success. I respect each student's abilities, limitations, and experiences. Families are an integral part of each child's educational success. Therefore, I feel that home and school communication is essential. Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns that may arise throughout the school year at kcatanese@jacksonsd.org. As an educator at the Jackson Christa McAuliffe Middle School, I find it a privilege and an honor to educate your child. I will gladly support and assist each student in reaching their potential.
