Welcome to our classroom! This will be the tenth year I have been lucky enough to call the Jackson School District home.  I have three daughters and one son.  In my free time I love to spend time with my family and friends and to explore locally. I graduated from the University of Washington. After moving back to New Jersey, I became certified to teach general education at Georgian Court University and special education through Rutgers University. I am also certified to teach science, literacy and social studies. I began my career in Freehold Township, having taught for a time at both middle schools, and at the middle school in Red Bank for 3 years.

I love teaching because there is honestly no other feeling in the world than learning something new, and I feel honored to get to witness and be a part of that growth.  I can’t think of anything more satisfying than encouraging and fostering a love of learning, and science is my favorite subject!

Please do not hesitate to contact me at tbaker@jacksonsd.org and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I am looking forward to a fabulous year!
