Ocean County Library
One of the best resources for ALL, is still our local public libraries. They offer so many resources including, but not limited to: Printing from home to the library, E Books, research, etc. I would like each student in my class to have a library card and use the library on a regular basis.

Google
Each student will be given a Google account. Mr. McEwan utilizes this quite often and many assignments will be allowed to be typed and submitted to Mr. McEwan electronically. Your child will use the same login they have been, or if they are new to their Google account, will be given one early in September. Less paper = Less waste!

Pearson Realize

Discovery Education
Along with their Google accounts, the students will have access to a countless amount of educational videos from Google's partnership with Discovery Education.

Nonfiction/Main Idea Graphic Organizer
One of the more difficult concepts for students to grasp is the concept of main idea, especially with non fiction. I created this graphic organizer for students to use to help them understand how to find the main idea of a nonfiction reading. This document was created in Microsoft Word.
