Our members wanted to be of service to the Jackson community and thought sharing their love of reading may help during these changing times.  Please find the video list attached with the title of the book read. All students agreed to have their videos used for educational purposes and to have them posted on school websites if wanted.

    Click on the link below to access free books for digital reading. The code for our class is xhz8021. Happy reading!





    Follow steps below if having difficulty getting onto the Math Website. 
    1. Click on the assignment tab on the classroom page
    2. Click on the pearson realize assignment to take you to the pearson website
    3. If prompted choose your child's google account
    4. Click on the first video assignment, the video will play and prompt your child for responses. Periodically the video stops so you child responds, please hit play when you want to continue. 
    5. When the assignment is complete, click the blue check in the top right corner to turn in your assigment.
    6. To move on to the next assignment, click the number 2 tab at the top left.
    7. Once all assignment are complete and have a green check mark, click turn in all in the top right corner.

     Brush up on our sight words!  You could put the words on cards to be put in sentences, play matching games, etc.

Learners worldwide can draw, doodle and explore new ways of writing by visiting Mo’s studio virtually once a day for the next few weeks. Grab some paper and pencils, pens, or crayons and join Mo to explore ways of writing and making together.

    In our continued effort to promote literacy and a love of reading, we have partnered with Bubbakoo’s for their "Read It to Eat It" program.  

    Here's how it works.

    Read and write down the names of five books you have read.

    Turn in card to me and receive a card for free kids meal at Bubbakoos.



    School Store will be open during lunch periods the second Wednesday of every month.  Children will have the opportunity to shop when finished eating.  Items are priced between $.25 - $2.00


      Donations can be made anytime during the school year and would be greatly appreciated.

                              Bucket Filling                        

    Please encourage your child to be a Bucket filler at home and at school! A bucket filler is kind, respectful, and caring!



     If you would like to send in a treat to celebrate your child's birthday, please send it in to school with your child or if that's not possible you can drop it off at the receptionist's desk no later then 10:30. Birthday snacks are eaten during their lunch and shoud be something easy to manage.  We are a nut-free classroom.  Though your child may bring nut products for lunch, please do not send them in for birthday celebrations or snack.  Thank you for your cooperation in making our classroom safe for all students.                                      




    Playground Safety

    Children must wear sneakers to play on equipment.  They may change into sneakers at school if desired.
