Honors Physics Overview

Honors Physics is a one-semester student directed course designed for the highly motivated student that will likely study science in college. The student will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the use of the natural laws of matter and energy and their relationships. The course covers Newtonian mechanics, energy and conservation, uniform circular motion and rotational motion, electrostatics, electric circuits, magnetism, mechanical waves and sound, light and geometric optics, and fluids.

OPENSTAX has free textbooks on a variety of subjects…which is a really great resource.
They have a good introductory, algebra based physics book. It is also useful as a review.
They call it “College Physics for AP Courses”

flipping physics has video review lessons of many of the topics that we do in class. They techincally are for AP Physics 1, but are close enough.
