Course Description

Geometry is a one semester course designed for the student that has successfully completed Algebra 1.  The purpose of this class is to introduce the student to the geometric language of mathematics while promoting problem solving strategies.  Students will be expected to integrate previously learned algebraic skills to the analysis, synthesis and application of geometric theorems and concepts.  To meet the wide range of student learning styles and to encourage active involvement, strategies may vary.
