    English I College Preparatory is a rigorous and challenging literary survey course that examines a dynamic collection of literary works (novels, short stories, drama, and poetry) as well as variety of non-fiction selections. Some of the works include: The OdysseyRomeo and Juliet, and a collection of both classic and contemporary short stories in concert with poetry selections and essays. In addition to literary analysis, you will work on improving writing, verbal dexterity, grammar, listening, and vocabulary skills.
