Greetings 5th graders and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. This school year marks my 29th year of teaching. I have been a member of the Jackson School District since September 2001. Prior to moving to the Jackson School District, I was a middle school teacher for 5 years in Tempe, Arizona, home of my alma mater, Arizona State University. While at Arizona State, I earned a BA in Elementary and Special Education and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction. Most recently, I earned an EdS degree in Educational Leadership from Seton Hall University. Besides our love for the beach, my family and I enjoy traveling to new destinations as well as revisiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
