Accounting III

Elements of Accounting III provides information on accounting procedures for depreciation of plant assets, uncollectible accounts receivable, inventories, and notes payable and receivable. Students learn about the principles of accounting for each of these special procedures. They learn to calculate amounts for depreciation, inventories, and notes payable. They learn about the accounts to be debited and credited and the corresponding entries. Students also become familiar with the financial statements needed for these procedures

ACCOUNTING III & IV

 CLASSWORK AND NOTEBOOK RESPONSIBILITIES FOR EACH CHAPTER FOR PARTICIPATION GRADES AND HOMEWORK GRADES.

 THE FOLLOWING ITEMS MUST BE COMPLETED FOR EACH CHAPTER. 

  1. COPY “WHAT YOU’LL LEARN” INTO NOTEBOOK FOR EACH CHAPTER.
  2. DEFINE TERMS FOR EACH SECTION INTO NOTEBOOK.
  3. DEFINE TERMS FOR EACH SECTION IN MS WORD OR MS POWERPOINT.
  4. COPY “WHY IT’S IMPORTANT” INTO NOTEBOOK FOR EACH CHAPTER.
  5. COPY “MAIN IDEA” FOR EACH SECTION INTO YOUR NOTEBOOK.
  6. ANSWER “CHECK YOUR UNDERSTANDING” QUESTIONS AT THE END OF EACH CHAPTER SECTION.
  7. COMPLETE ALL PROBLEMS IN ACCOUNTING WORKBOOK-QUESTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS ARE IN THE ACCOUNTING TEXTBOOK.
  • WE WILL COVER ABOUT 1 CHAPTER PER WEEK.
  • YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ADDITIONAL ASSIGNMENTS I PLACE ON THE BOARD FOR THAT DAYS LESSON.
  • ALL “DO NOW” ASSIGNMENTS TO BE COMPLETED ON THE COMPUTER.
  • EACH MARKING PERIOD YOU WILL GET A PARTICIPATION GRADE, HOMEWORK GRADE, AND TEST GRADES.
