Dear Switlik Families,

We are off to a wonderful start to the 2022/2023 school year. We appreciate everyone’s patience with bussing. The Switlik staff and bus drivers check students in one by one to help ensure everyone is where they need to be, so it does delay the dismissal process. Just a couple of other reminders to make the school year efficient for everyone. 

Whether you are picking up a student on a daily basis or on a temporary basis, (doctor or dentist appt.) please be sure to send a note with your child to the teacher. Switlik is a bussing school, if we do not have a note, students will be put on their bus. Trying to pull a student off a bus prior to their departure will become more challenging as bussing continues to get more efficient.

Back to school nights are coming. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, 9/15- Pre-School 5:30PM

Thursday, 9/15- K & 1 7:00PM 

Monday, 9/19 Grades 2 & 3 7:00PM

Tuesday, 9/20 Grades 4 & 5 7:00PM

Each of these nights we will have an informal, voluntary, meet the principal opportunity at 6:45PM in the Cafeteria. As we continue to move past the pandemic we are excited to open Back to School Nights to two guests. We do ask that you refrain from bringing students to the presentation. 

Please make sure students remember to have their ID cards with them. This card is used for bussing, media center and lunch. If your child has misplaced their ID please make their teacher aware.
