Back To School!
Welcome to 5th grade! I know it is going to be a wonderful year!. If you have any questions you can reach me either through e-mail sberger@jacksonsd.org or you may leave a message with the school.
Listed below are some suggested school supplies for the year. Many of the supplies below will stay in the classroom, in the student's desk.
- Two (one subject) spiral notebooks
- Pencils
- Highlighter
- Colored pencils or crayons
- Glue stick
- Scissor
- Expo Marker (dark color please)
- Pencil case to hold supplies
- Headphones to use with the chrome book
- If you would like to send in a box of tissues for the classroom, that would be wonderful!

Google Information Link
It is suggested that students bring a bagged lunch to school. Students will be able to purchase lunch from the school.
Please complete the attached dismissal form. The students need to bring this to with them the first day they are physically in school.
If you child is using the car line, please complete the attached form, and send it in with your child the first day they are physically in school.

Chromebooks
Chromebooks need to be brought to school everyday.
The chromebooks need to be charged for the day.
Students may bring in their own headphones and mice to use with the chromebook. (this is not required)
Information
An invitation was sent to your child's email for them to join their google classroom.
If the students have any difficulty joining, we will be working with them when they are in school.
We will be spending time helping the students learn and use the google classroom.
All remote assignments will be posted in the google classroom.
Please have your child check and read all of their e-mails everyday. Both Mr. Hynes and I share important and fun information with the students.

To Access Google Classroom: Once you are in your email - go to the nine dots in the top right corner. Click on them, then look for icon Classroom.
The students are required to attend google meet on their remote learning day.
Attendance will be taken and counted for remote learning days during the google meet.
The students will login into the google meet from their google classroom.
