SHORT TRACK SPEED SKATING
SOFTBALL
Erin Gleason was a four-year Varsity letter winner in softball. She led the team to the A-South title her senior year, earning status as an All-American Scholar Athlete.
Erin was also an accomplished short track speed skater. She won many medals including gold at the US Olympic festivals.
Erin was the 3-time US record holder in the 1000m, 1500m, and 3000m relay.
She was a member of the World Team, winning 2 bronze medals at the 1996 World Championships.
Erin’s career culminated by securing a spot on the 1998 Olympic team, competing in the 300m, 1500m, and the 1000m races in Nagano, Japan.
Erin attended Georgetown University majoring in international business. After graduation she studied at the Universita` degli Studi di Genova in Italy.
