ATHLETE
SOCCER, BASKETBALL, SPRING TRACK
Ashley Eure, a graduate of JMHS in 1991 was a 4-year letter winner in Soccer, Basketball and Spring Track. He went on to play Soccer for Temple University where he lettered 2 years, was selected Scholar Athlete and 2nd Team All Atlantic 10 his sophomore year.
In Soccer Ashley was captain and MVP in 1989 and 1990. He was selected 1st Team All-County 1987, 88, 89, All-Shore 1989 and 90, and then NJ All-State 1990. He was a member of the 1988, 89, 90 Shore Conference Team Champs and 1990 NJ State Champs Group IV.
In Basketball he was the Team Asst. leader for his Jr. and Sr. years. He was a team leader as a 3-year starter at point guard.
In Spring Track he was a member of the Shore Conference Championship team of 1991 as well as A-South champs that year. He was also a member of the 4 x 400 relay team which set the school record at the Penn Relays.
