    Marc was a four year Varsity Letter winner for Baseball.  He pitched and hit his way onto two All-State teams, 1993 and 1994.  He was All-County and All-Shore in 1992, 1993 and 1994.  He also was a High School All American in 1994.  He was the NJ Player of the Year for Topps in 1993 and Gatorade in 1994.

     

    Marc was a member of the Carpenter Cup team in 1992, 1993 and 1994.  He was elected to the All Century team for the Asbury Park Press and the Star Ledger.  He set a record for season (14) and career (27) home runs for the Shore Conference.

     

    Marc went on to play professional baseball for eight years until 2001.  He played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Boston Red Sox, Fargo Redhawks, and New Jersey Jackals and finished his career with the Newark Bears.  He was also elected to the Baseball America Top Prospect list in 1994 and 1995.
