SARAH (ARTALE) HAYEK
INDUCTION CLASS OF 2013
ATHLETE
SOCCER, BASKETBALL, TENNIS, LACROSSE
Sarah (Artale) Hayek earned 8 varsity letters in her outstanding athletic career at JMHS. She was a multisport athlete with a varsity letter in tennis, lacrosse, 2 in basketball and 4 in soccer where she excelled.
Sarah’s accomplishments in soccer included:
- Jackson All Time Leading Goal Scorer (58)
- Lead the Shore Conference in scoring in 1996
- 3 year All Division
- 4 year All County
- 2 year All Shore selection
After she graduated she went on to play soccer at Rider University for 4 years, where she was All-MAAC in 2002 and still holds a career scoring mark of 41 goals and 95 points.
Sarah now teaches at Jackson Liberty HS in the Business Department. She is also the head coach of both girls soccer and girls lacrosse.
