Welcome to the McAuliffe Baseball Team home page!

My name is Chris Ippolito and the 2024 baseball season will be my 21st year at the helm of the Lions. In that time, we have enjoyed great success, including six division titles. More important, we have been a feeder source of talent for the successful baseball program at Liberty High School.

Through the hard work of the kids and Liberty Coaches, former McAuliffe players have been drafted by MLB clubs, played at all levels of college baseball and have joined the coaching ranks of at least one MLB organization. We will continue to strive for excellence for 2024 and at the same time make our school community proud of the behavior and work ethic of the players in the baseball program.

There will be an initial baseball meeting sometime in late January or early February where we will discuss tryout dates, expectations and team rules. Between now and then, the only thing prospective baseball players need to do is to make sure they have had a physical examination. Doctors sometimes are booked well in advance so the sooner this is completed, the better. Once scheduled, I will post meeting flyers around the school and on this baseball home page as well as announcements on Wake Up McAuliffe.
