• Welcome to 7th Grade! 2025-2026

My name is Miss Toro, and I’m so excited to begin my third year in the new Jackson Township Middle School building, teaching 7th grade mathematics! This year marks my fifth year as a teacher overall, and I couldn’t be happier to continue helping students grow in both confidence and curiosity when it comes to math. My mission is to make math feel approachable, exciting, and relevant, while encouraging students to see challenges as opportunities to learn.

I graduated from Rutgers University in 2019, where I built a strong foundation in my love for learning and leadership. Soon after, I completed the Alternate Route to Teaching Program at Stockton University Graduate School in 2021. Over the years, I’ve worked with students at different grade levels, but middle school has a special place in my heart—it’s a time of big growth, new independence, and discovering what learning can truly be.

Outside of school, I have a full (and very busy) household with eight pets: a dog, four cats, and three ferrets. They all have big personalities and keep life at home full of laughter, chaos, and cuddles. In my spare time, I enjoy curling up with a good book, staying active through workouts, and relaxing with some video games. I also coach the Jackson Township Middle School Cheerleading Team and have been doing that since I started teaching at Goetz!

I believe a classroom is more than just a place to learn equations and formulas—it’s a space for building respect, working as a team, and finding the confidence to take risks. I’m committed to making sure every student feels welcome, supported, and challenged in our class.

I’m looking forward to a year filled with engaging lessons, creative problem-solving, and memorable moments both in and out of the classroom. Let’s make this year our best one yet!
