Welcome to my world of science!

This is my 23rd year at Carl W. Goetz Middle School.  I am constantly looking for new and exciting ways to get my students engaged in learning.  One of my favorite things about being a teacher is getting to know my students on a personal level.  

This year is especially exciting as we are introducing a new curriculum and way of learning.  We have a lot of exploring to do together!!

I believe that learning can be accomplished in a fun and nurturing environment.  I wish to create a classroom in which every student feels comfortable succeeding.  I will always treat my students with respect and, in return, I expect nothing but respect from my students.  

My happy place is the beach.  My family and friends mean the world to me.  I love anything coconut.  I am looking forward to getting to know you this year!!
