Principal's Message 3nd Marking Period 2025

Hello Goetz Family,

It is hard to believe that the year is half over, and the 3rd Marking Period is in full swing!  There are so many wonderful opportunities at Goetz from now until June for our students! 

The annual “Hoops for Hearts” Student/Faculty Basketball game, as always, was a fan favorite. March kicks off with Read Across America, and our Student Activities have planned numerous events, such as the “Rock, Paper, Scissors Challenge,” “Hi-5 Friday,” and our annual Homeroom Battle!  The Nexus Club will present “RACE” for their movie night on February 26th.  Student Activities and the PTN have also joined forces for a 7th Grade Social!.  

Our student-athletes have been competing and having fun this winter.  We appreciate your support as we move toward our spring season.  Don’t forget to get those physicals in!

We look forward to the spring weather, so we can get our athletes outside and vie for championships on the fields.   

It is still possible to become a part of our wonderful PTN.  They are very involved in making Goetz an even better community through various activities for your children.  

As you are all aware, the Board of Education voted to keep Goetz open next year as a 5th & 6th Grade building.  The Goetz community is honored that we will be able to continue the great traditions that have been built over the past 50 years!  We at Goetz look forward to creating impactful memories for future generations of students!
