Membership in the NJAHS is application based. Completing an application does not guarantee your membership in the NJAHS.

How can I be a part of this organization?

Here at the C.W. Goetz Middle School, students are nominated by their 6th or 7th grade art teachers. These students will be invited to a Google Classroom where details regarding the information meeting (occuring in June) for the following year will be posted.

Students will receive an application packet in June, and will submit their application and all necessary materials the following September. Student applications are graded using a rubric, which is provided in the packet.

Students who are chosen to be in the NJAHS are inducted in a ceremony in October. 

Throughout the school year, students participate in community and school-based art activities such as murals, contests, play sets, support for the troops and more.
