• ¡Bienvenidos a la Clase de español!

     Welcome to World Language: Spanish!

I look forward to having so many of you back in my classroom this year. Note that I am NOT in the room I was in last year. If you cannot find that room change on your schedule, email me and I will help you out. This year we have late buses daily. I will be available for extra help with my 7th-grade Spanish classes on days as posted in the classroom. Please be sure to sign up and let your parents know you are staying. I do not offer extra credit as there are built-in opportunities to keep grades high and achieve lesson mastery. Students should bring their charged Chromebooks, a notebook, a pen/pencil, and a folder to class daily. At home, be sure to use the online tools discussed in class to access important information and study for upcoming assessments. The grade breakdown can be found on the grading portal, but it is as follows: 50% assessment, 20% homework, and 30% participation. There are tests, quizzes, projects, class assignments, and homework assigned throughout the 10-week course. Please be sure to check the grading portal often. Check the assignment schedule and pay attention to due dates. If there are ever any questions or concerns, please email me and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.

As this class is taught by marking quarter, please be on the lookout for a Google Classroom invite in your school email to join our class as the new quarter approaches.
