My hope is for my students to look forward to coming into my class each day because they feel safe and secure enough to learn in this environment. My idea of maintaining a caring community in the classroom only works if each student can be respectful towards their peers. If there is ever an issue of a student not being respectful towards another student, that will be handled immediately. I will go to the moon and back for my students to succeed, but there has to be an effort given by the students. A student will never fail my class based on their ability or intellect. I am looking for effort!
